A new pilot space serving as a catalyst for the hybrid workplace: In the existing building of the renowned architectural firm Barkow Leibinger, a work environment was created for TRUMPF that emphasizes openness, flexibility, and modern usage patterns.
The interior design concept was developed in collaboration with Steelcase and TRUMPF; LEIK handled the complete implementation and furnishing of the spaces. The result is a work environment that combines traditional desk-based workstations with a variety of alternative work options.
The space, which measures approximately 660 m², includes eight fully equipped workstations…
… as well as up to 70 additional, flexible work options—for communication, teamwork, privacy, or individual focus. Openly structured areas, carefully planned zoning, and a diverse mix of materials and furniture create a lively yet tranquil work environment.
For TRUMPF, the pilot space marks a significant step: moving away from 100% desk-based work toward a flexible, diverse, and sustainable work culture. It is a place that makes change visible, strengthens collaboration, and allows employees to experience new realities of work firsthand.
